Intellinet Experts Selected to Present at SharePoint Saturday Charlotte

We are excited to announce Intellinet experts Ben Adams, Melissa Coates, and Paul Wood were recently selected to present at SharePoint Saturday Charlotte on March 16, 2013.

Ben Adams, Intellinet Senior Consultant, and Paul Wood, Intellinet Principal Consultant, will co-present the session SharePoint 2013 Installation Tips and Tricks.  During the session they will review SharePoint 2013 installation and configuration steps including hardware and software prerequisites, tips and tricks for configuring servers and service applications, and overall best practices.

Paul Wood will also lead the session What’s New in PowerShell 3.0 for SharePoint 2013.  Attendees will learn about new robust Remote Session capabilities, much-improved PowerShell Integrated Scripting Environment (ISE), simplified syntax improvements, and tips and tricks for better managing and automating SharePoint 2013 environments.

Intellinet Architect, Melissa Coates, will present Managing the "PowerPivot for SharePoint" Environment.  This session will discuss management of data models and reports stored in the PowerPivot Gallery document library. Data Refresh and security considerations will be reviewed in depth. The relational and SSAS databases present in a PowerPivot for SharePoint environment will be introduced, as well as options for reporting on usage and other key metrics.

SharePoint Saturday is a free, community-focused SharePoint event dedicated to educating and engaging members of the local SharePoint community.
