From a lineage of successful real estate entrepreneurs, Mr. Bell began his career as a financial analyst with Carter & Associates. He soon discovered a passion for technology rather than real estate. Mr. Bell launched Intellinet from his Peachtree Road apartment in 1993, and for more than ten years, Intellinet has continued to help clients solve complex business problems through innovative technology application. Hardin Byars has more than 25 years of experience in leading companies to achieve success. As Intellinet's chief executive officer, he is responsible for establishing Intellinet's vision, strategy and objectives, as well as cultivating a customer-centric, values-based corporate environment by promoting servant-leadership, teamwork and personal accountability. Since joining Intellinet in 2005, Mr. Byars served as the executive vice president of organization development and lead the company in its commitment to excellence by continuously challenging high performance teams to achieve bottom-line results through customer focus and personal development. Prior to Intellinet, he served as a vice president for Wells Real Estate Funds, where he was responsible for creating a business channel for fee-based financial advisors. Previous to that position, Mr. Byars founded Innovus Consulting where he coached senior executives on strategic planning and organizational development to drive growth by creating energetic, people-centered cultures responsive to change. His experience also includes positions with Carter & Associates, PathVest Corporation and SAE America. He began his career with First National Bank of Atlanta as an international officer for the Far East region. Mr. Byars earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a master's degree in International Relations from the University of Georgia. His education also includes post-graduate studies in economics at the University of Georgia. Brian Benson, Intellinet's vice president of finance, has more than 17 years of experience in the Technology industry. As a member of the senior leadership team, Mr. Benson is responsible for the development and implementation of short and long-term strategic planning in the areas of corporate finance, cash management, budgeting and forecasting activities. Mr. Benson joined Intellinet in 2006 as director of finance and initiated a series of accounting and financial management policies and practices, providing the vision and acumen to position the organization for growth. Prior to joining Intellinet, Mr. Benson served as director of finance for Manhattan Associates, Inc., a software company focused exclusively on helping businesses streamline their supply chains. During his 14-year tenure he assisted in the development of the organization from 10 people and $1 million in annual revenue to over 2,000 employees and $250 million without accruing debt. Originally from California, Mr. Benson earned an accounting degree from Loyola Marymount University. He currently resides in Sandy Springs with his wife and their two children. Chris Saltz, Intellinet's vice president of consulting operations, has 15 years experience in management and executive leadership within both the manufacturing and IT industries. Mr. Saltz is a member of Intellinet's senior leadership team and holds primary responsibility for managing the operations of Intellinet's full consulting practice. Since joining the team in 2005, Mr. Saltz has served Intellinet clients with excellence through various consulting leadership and management roles focused on IT strategy, software development, and project/program management. Mr. Saltz was awarded Intellinet's Integrity and Wisdom awards in 2006 and 2007. Prior to joining Intellinet, Mr. Saltz served in several progressive IT management roles at Network Communications, Inc., with primarily responsibility for leading the Client Services team and successfully delivering multi-million dollar business solutions that enabled tremendous business growth. Originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, Mr. Saltz attended King College, in Bristol, Tennessee; relocating to Atlanta to complete his degree in Visual Communications at the Art Institute of Atlanta. As Intellinet's solution director for Application Development and SharePoint, J Burnett is responsible for high-value business solutions primarily through .NET and SharePoint technologies. Prior to joining Intellinet, Mr. Burnett was founder & president of AltaModa Technologies which provided premier .NET architecture and implementation services, custom SharePoint-based applications, and architected business solutions to reduce supply chain cycle times and increase productivity. Before AltaModa Technologies, Mr. Burnett worked for over 10 years at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, WA on various product teams including Visual Studio, Windows Media Technologies, SQL Server, and Microsoft Access. Mr. Burnett received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mississippi and is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). His community involvement includes Habitat for Humanity, Opportunity International, and membership at Fellowship Bible Church. Chad Cooper, Intellinet's solution director of Core Infrastructure and Systems Management, is responsible for leading the technical direction of the practice and for providing sales and marketing support to encourage growth. Since joining Intellinet in 2005, Mr. Cooper has served as a senior consultant, specializing in Desktop Deployment and Core Infrastructure Technologies. Prior to joining the Intellinet family, he worked for CheckFree as a senior network engineer. Before that he served as network engineer of the Distributed Systems Integration group at Bell South/EDS where he was responsible for the architecture and design of new Windows networks and applications. Mr. Cooper holds a B.S. in Computer Science from North Georgia College and is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Daren Glenister, general manager of Intellinet Texas, has nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry. Since joining the team in 2006, Mr. Glenister has significantly grown the Texas market by developing direct and partnership relationships and winning accolades from Microsoft's South Central District. Before joining Intellinet, Mr. Glenister was director of central region services sales for Symantec Corporation, a billion dollar software company. Prior to their Symantec acquisition in early 2006, he led professional services for BindView Corp with responsibility for services sales and delivery for over three years. Previous to BindView, Mr. Glenister held consulting leadership roles with BMC Software and Sterling Software. Originally from England, Mr. Glenister has also run services and support organizations in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. He currently resides in Houston with his wife and their two children. As practice director for Intellinet, Dave Hemminger is responsible for providing career readiness development paths for consultants, partnering with solution directors for business planning, and ensuring projects are delivered to client satisfaction. Prior to joining Intellinet in 2006, Mr. Hemminger served as a consultant for NumberSix Software where he was responsible for project management, business analysis and training. Before that, he served in management, development and consulting roles at Excelsio Communications, JC Web Services, Mindsharp, and Techies.com. Mr. Hemminger is an IBM certified specialist in Rational Unified Process (RUP) and a certified project manager from Gartner Learning. Myla Irwin, Intellinet's human resource manager, is responsible for the overall administration of the human resource function of the company including corporate policy formulation, communication and enforcement; employee relations; benefits administration; and assisting with employee training and development initiatives. Mrs. Irwin brings over 15 years of HR generalist experience to Intellinet, the last eight in a management capacity. Mrs. Irwin spent the first eight years of her HR career with a health related non-profit in Maryland before relocating to Atlanta. She then worked as Assistant Director of HR for an environmental engineering firm in Buckhead for three years before taking an independent consulting job where she spent a year building an HR infrastructure for a rising IT training school in Decatur. Mrs. Irwin is a national and local member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). She earned her BA in Psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta and a MA in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland in College Park. As practice director, Michael Lignos oversees the operations of Intellinet's Business Intelligence and Information Worker practice. He is responsible for managing a team of consultants, delivering service excellence, and ensuring alignment with the company vision. Mr. Lignos has over 16 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Intellinet, he served as IT Director for Network Communications Inc. There he was responsible for directing the work of the business analyst team as well as project planning to maintain a full pipeline within the IT department. Before that, he served in progressive leadership and consulting roles at Perform.com, Clarkston Potomac Consulting, and Andersen Consulting/Accenture. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Mr. Lignos holds a BS in Chemistry from Millsaps College and an MBA from the University of Georgia. He is active in the community through Hands on Atlanta and serves as the Food Chairman for the Atlanta Cathedral Greek Festival. In addition, he provides project oversight, architectural leadership, and helps manage partner relationships. Prior to his role as solution director, Mr. Melcher served as a Senior Consultant in Intellinet's Business Intelligence (BI) Practice. There he was responsible for analyzing, designing, and leading BI solutions. Mr. Melcher has been recognized by Microsoft as worldwide expert in PerformancePoint Server. He was chosen by Microsoft to participate with an elite international team to create the PerformancePoint certification exams. A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, Mr. Melcher holds a BS in Computer Science. He is responsible for managing a team of consultants, communicating with all areas of the company from sales to operations, and providing outstanding client experiences. Mr. Trapnell has filled progressive consulting and leadership positions at Intellinet since joining in 1995 and has supported the company in its commitment to help clients deliver quantifiable business results. Previous to Intellinet, he worked for Sales Technologies and began his career as a mortgage broker for Mortgage Plus. A native Atlantan, Mr. Trapnell enjoys hiking, camping and backpacking. As general manager of Intellinet Carolinas, Glenn Williams is responsible for leading the region towards rapid growth and management of local sales and technical resources. Bringing over 25 years of sales and IT experience to the Carolinas, Mr. Williams has worked closely with Microsoft in various sales and leadership roles within Avanade and Genesis 10. Prior to those positions, Mr. Williams served as vice-president of sales and co-owner of Infovision, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in consulting services. During his tenure, Infovision was awarded numerous industry certifications and recognitions including; Charlotte's Business Ethics Award, Microsoft President's Club and Deloitte's Fastest Growing Companies in North Carolina for 7 years in a row. As a graduate of Virginia Tech and a devoted Hokies fan, Mr. Williams is highly active in the Charlotte chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association and a representative of the Hokies Club, a non-profit organization helping to provide scholarships for student-athletes.
