INTELLINET CORPORATION CHOSEN AS FINALIST FOR MICROSOFT CERTIFIED SOLUTION PROVIDER PARTNER OF THE YEAR

One of Three Partners in the World Selected for the Award

Atlanta, Ga. (May 15, 1998) -- Intellinet Corporation, the Southeast's leading Microsoft Certified Solution Provider (MCSP) Partner, today announced that it has been chosen as a finalist for Microsoft's 1998 Partner of the Year award. The company was selected along with two other MCSP partners. Currently, there are more than 14,000 MCSP organizations worldwide.

The Partner of the Year award is the most coveted award given by Microsoft in the MCSP Partner channel; it is given to the MCSP Partner who most embodies what it means to team with Microsoft. Criteria for consideration include: innovation and creativity to the MCSP channel, excellence in customer service, impact on Microsoft product sales, demonstrated achievement in Microsoft technologies, reputation in delivering Microsoft solutions and partnership strength with Microsoft.

"We are thrilled to be named a finalist for Microsoft's Partner of the Year award," said Frank Bell, Intellinet founder, president and COO. "From the very beginning, Intellinet's vision has been to set the standard in delivering services for Microsoft's BackOffice products. As a finalist for this prestigious award, Microsoft has acknowledged that Intellinet is one step closer to seeing its vision become reality."

The Partner of the Year award winner will be announced at Fusion98, Microsoft's worldwide business symposium for MCSPs, in New Orleans, May 29 to June 1. Steve Ballmer, executive vice president of sales and support, and Sam Jadallah, vice president of the organization customer unit at Microsoft Corp., will be on hand to present the award.

The award is part of Microsoft's annual MCSP awards, an international competition designed to recognize and reward the expertise of MCSPs' firms which develop and implement software solutions using Microsoft products and technologies. "The MCSP awards finalists are developing industry-leading solutions in some of the most dynamic and emerging markets," said Jadallah. "The work completed by Intellinet demonstrates the innovation and excellence MCSPs are delivering to our mutual customers."

MCSPs are independent organizations working with Microsoft that include a wide range of companies, such as systems integrators, custom application developers, installation and deployment service providers, business consultants and training organizations. MCSPs add value by offering their customers a full range of services, including internet, intranet and Commerce solutions, line-of-business applications and client/server implementations.
