Certification Solidifies Intellinet's Leadership Position in Information Security Technology

Atlanta, Ga. (May 21, 2002) - Intellinet today announced that Microsoft Corporation named them a Gold Certified Partner for Security Solutions. Intellinet is one of the first 10 certified partners to become a Gold Partner for Security Solutions in the United States. This achievement is in addition to the E-Commerce Solutions and Enterprise Systems certifications the company earned earlier this year.

The Gold Certified Partner Program allows Microsoft Certified Partners, such as Intellinet, to differentiate themselves based on their area of expertise, which enables customers to more easily identify a partner that has demonstrated its ability with comparable projects. Companies receiving the Gold Certified Partner for Security Solutions status from Microsoft must have demonstrated incremental certification expertise and submitted customer references in security solutions.

Over the past year, Intellinet's security solutions development practice has successfully implemented several, high profile, end-to-end security solutions. In order to apply for Gold Certified Partner for Security Solutions status, the company submitted three exemplary customer security projects. These projects include development of a secure extranet for one of the Southeast's oldest investment consulting firms and a 4000 seat deployment of an Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 for one of the largest flexible packaging converters in the United States. Additionally, Intellinet consultants completed the installation of an Active Directory, which provides secure access to ERP systems and secure remote access to the employees of one of the largest travel management firms in the United States.

Requirements for the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Security Solutions status include: four technicians with either a Windows 2000 Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) certifications exclusively linked to the Microsoft Certified Partner and three current client references with projects that have gone live within the previous 12 months.
